A Book and an Interview in Honor of Yoga Master Sri DHarma Mittra

In honor of the 75th birth anniversary of prophet, saint and realized Master Dharma Mittra we are honored to announce the release of Chandra Om's new book 'The Master Said...Dharma Mittra in His own words', an exquisite and long overdue volume of our Guru's teachings.

As most of you know, we (the NC School of Yoga) are not on social media. It is our wish that this book reach as many people as possible.  We ask all who are on social media to please make mention of this collection and to please forward this to all who might benefit so the net of these sacred teachings may reach far and wide.

In the May/June Issue of Yoga Chicago, Kali Om a disciple of Sri Dharma Mittra, had the blessing to interview Sri Dharma Mittra. To read the article and discover the essence of yoga through the words of a Master, follow this link:

Parvati Om (Erin Quell) has 14 years experience in yoga. She started with Patricia D'Angelo and Angela Caruso, devotees of Sri Swami Bua in 2000. In 2007, Erin found her Guru Sri Dharma Mittra and graduated from the Dharma Yoga (DY) Life of a Yogi (LOAY) 200 Hour Teacher Training. Study with Sri Dharma Mittra enhanced her practice by redirecting her attention to the ultimate goal of yoga, the unification with the True Self. Parvati graduated from the DY 500 hour advanced training in October 2008. In August 2012, she received a certificate of completion for the DY LOAY 800 hour teacher training and received certification to teach advanced yoga techniques specific to this lineage. She continues to study with her Guru on a weekly basis and is sincerely committed to the Holy Science of Yoga. Parvati Om received certification to teach Prenatal Yoga at the North Carolina School of Yoga, which was founded by Chandra Om, a senior disciple of Sri Dharma Mittra.
